Akrapovic S-K6R11-RC/1 Carbon Fiber Racing Line Exhaust System
The Akrapovic S-K6R11-RC/1 is engineered for the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, providing a significant upgrade over the stock exhaust system. This exhaust is meticulously crafted with a hand-laid carbon fiber outer sleeve and end cap, complemented by a durable stainless-steel inner structure that includes a noise insert, link pipe, and headers. The result is an impressive weight reduction of 68.6%, shedding 8.3 kg compared to the stock setup.
Designed with performance in mind, the S-K6R11-RC/1 features a unique exhaust configuration that enhances power delivery across the entire rev range, particularly above 5,000 rpm. On the Akrapovic dyno, this exhaust system recorded gains of 5.7 kW (7.7 hp) at 13,200 rpm and 7.7 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm when compared to the stock exhaust.
The racing-inspired design is highlighted by the removal of the pre-muffler, while two lambda sensors ensure optimal performance and emissions compliance. Riders can expect a distinct deep racing sound that enhances the overall riding experience. Installation is straightforward, with a plug-and-play design that does not require mandatory remapping; however, remapping is recommended for those looking to fully realize the system's capabilities.
