AC-HD20CHC8-OE-DRY
The Type-OE dry carbon fiber front hood for the Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray comes with numerous features:
- OE replacement
- Dry carbon fiber - matte finish
- Autoclave process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth, matte finish
- Our DRY carbon does not have UV protection; it is recommended to have it coated with an automotive-grade clear coat with UV inhibitors if you do not plan to paint or wrap the part
- Mounts with OE hardware
- Hoods are hand crafted and weigh approximately 9 lbs. (O.E. hood weighs 15.7 lbs.)
- All hoods require hood pins for safety reasons.
- Heat shield required
- Anderson Composites does not suggest installing aftermarket gas shocks/dampers/struts
- The use of a hood prop rod is highly recommended
