Hey there, fellow VW enthusiast! If you've been waiting for a solid turbo upgrade for your transversely mounted VW, the wait is over. APR has finally dropped their K04 upgrade kit, and let me tell you, it’s a game changer. This isn't just any turbo swap; it's a chance to really unleash your ride's potential.

So, what’s in the box? You get the K04 turbo itself, a compressor inlet O-ring, four turbo outlet studs, a manifold to turbo gasket, a 4-bar fuel pressure regulator, and a turbo to downturn gasket. It's pretty straightforward to install, and once you do, you’ll notice a significant boost in both horsepower and torque. Just to give you an idea, with only an exhaust upgrade, this kit pushed out an impressive 242 hp and 268 lb-ft of torque on 91 octane, and if you’re running 93 octane, you’re looking at 245 hp and 275 lb-ft. Not too shabby, right?

This kit is designed to be a turbo-only upgrade, so you won’t have to worry about swapping out fuel pumps or injectors. Plus, it comes with software to get everything dialed in perfectly. Weighing in at just 31 lbs, it’s not going to weigh down your ride either.
