If you’re looking to keep your engine running cool and strong, the CSF Engine Coolant Radiator is a solid choice. Built with an OE style design, it’s crafted to fit seamlessly into your ride while boosting the longevity of your engine. I’ve seen too many folks overlook their cooling systems, and trust me, that’s a recipe for disaster. This radiator is designed to replace your worn-out cooling component efficiently, ensuring that the heart of your vehicle is in prime condition.
Now, let’s dive into the specs. This downflow radiator has a single row design, which is often just what you need for effective cooling. The core measures 18 1/8” in length, 22 3/4” in width, and a thickness of 7/8”. It’s made from aluminum, which is lightweight yet durable, while the tanks are crafted from high-grade plastic. You’ll find the inlet located on the lower passenger side and the outlet on the lower driver side, with diameters of 1 5/16” and 1 9/16”, respectively. Plus, it features an oil cooler that’s 11 1/2” long and designed for high efficiency.
What really sets this radiator apart is its construction. The OEM-specified plastic tank-aluminum core setup is built to last. The tanks are made from virgin grade engineered plastic resins that are glass-filled for added strength and durability. And those gaskets? They’re made from special grade EPDM rubber, which can handle extreme temperatures of up to -120°F. The fins are designed with a high-performance multi-louvered style, ensuring optimal airflow. You can also rest easy knowing that every unit is leak tested at 150% of operating pressure before it leaves the factory.
CSF has been in the game for over 50 years, and they’ve sold more than 30 million radiators worldwide. They’ve got a reputation for quality, and it shows. Their radiators are engineered and wind tunnel tested to validate cooling performance. With a focus on using the latest technology and experienced personnel, CSF truly aims to build the best cooling systems out there.
As for fitment, this radiator is compatible with a range of models, including the Chevy Colorado from 2004 to 2012, the GMC Canyon from 2004 to 2012, and the Isuzu I-Series from 2006 to 2008. Just a heads up: when you’re swapping out your radiator, it’s a good idea to check the old radiator pressure cap for any signs of wear and tear.
In short, if you’re serious about keeping your engine cool, you can’t go wrong with a CSF radiator. It’s built tough, designed to perform, and it just might save you from a costly repair down the road.
