If you're looking to keep your engine cool and running smoothly, you can't go wrong with a CSF radiator. I've had my share of experiences with various radiators, and I can tell you that CSF really stands out. They’ve got a massive selection—over 3,200 applications covering everything from Acura to Volkswagen. So, no matter what you’re driving, chances are they’ve got a radiator that fits.
What I appreciate most about CSF is their commitment to quality. Their radiators come in all sorts of materials, whether you need Copper-Brass, Plastic-Copper-Brass, Plastic-Aluminum, or All Aluminum. Each one is built to match the original equipment style and materials, which is a big deal if you’re aiming for that factory finish. With over 50 years in the game and more than 30 million units sold, you know they’ve got the experience to back up their products.
One thing that really impressed me is how each radiator is engineered and tested. They actually put these things through wind tunnel tests to validate their cooling performance. Talk about serious business! The tanks are made from virgin grade engineered plastic resins that are glass-filled for extra strength. And let’s not forget the gaskets—they’re made from special grade EPDM rubber, which can handle extreme temperatures, up to -120°F. That’s some heavy-duty stuff!
When it comes to installation, you’ll find that CSF radiators are 100% leak tested before they leave the factory, operating at 150% of the standard pressure. Plus, the packaging is top-notch; they even do a "10-foot drop test" to make sure everything arrives in perfect condition. It’s the little things that matter, right?
Now, let’s get into some specs. This particular model is a downflow radiator with a single row. The core length is 15 13/16" and the width is 28 5/8", with a thickness of 5/8". The core is made from aluminum, while the tanks are plastic. Inlet and outlet locations are pretty standard, with both at 1 3/8" diameter. If you’re working on a 2010-2011 Toyota Camry, this radiator is a perfect fit.
Just a quick note: when you’re swapping out your radiator, don’t forget to check the old pressure cap for any signs of wear. It’s a small detail, but it can save you a headache down the road. Also, be sure to use a Micro, 16 psi cap with this setup.
In short, if you want a radiator that’s built to last and perform, CSF is definitely worth considering. It’s a solid investment for your ride, and you’ll appreciate the difference when the temperature stays just where it should be.
