If you’re looking to keep your engine cool and running smoothly, the CSF radiator is definitely worth a look. With a range that covers over 3,200 different vehicles—from your trusty Acura to a sporty Volkswagen—CSF has been in the game for over 50 years, and they know a thing or two about radiators. I’ve used their products, and let me tell you, they’ve got the quality down to a science.
What I love about these radiators is that they’re built to last. Whether you're dealing with a Copper-Brass setup or an All-Aluminum model, CSF uses the same materials and design standards as the original equipment. You get that OEM feel without the dealership price tag. The tanks are made from Virgin Grade Engineered plastic resins, and they even add a bit of glass filling for extra strength. This means you’re not just getting a part that fits; you’re getting one that can handle the heat—literally. Those gaskets? They’re made from a special grade of EPDM rubber that can withstand temperatures as low as -120°F. Now that’s tough.
When it comes to performance, these radiators are no slouch. They’ve got a high-performance multi-louvered design for maximum cooling efficiency, and every unit is put through a rigorous leak test before it leaves the factory—150% of the operating pressure, to be exact. Plus, CSF ensures that all components are properly installed and torqued during assembly, so you know it’s built right.
And if you’re worried about shipping, CSF has you covered there too. They use top-notch packaging that can survive a 10-foot drop test, so your radiator arrives in perfect condition. I’ve had my fair share of parts arrive damaged, and trust me, you don’t want to deal with that hassle.
Now, let’s get into some specs. This particular model is a crossflow radiator with a single row design. It measures 21 11/16” in length, 15 5/16” in width, and has a thickness of 5/8”. The inlet is located on the upper driver side, while the outlet is on the lower passenger side, with diameters of 1 3/8” and 1 5/16” respectively. Plus, it includes a high-efficiency plate-type oil cooler that measures 10 13/16”.
It’s a perfect fit for the Hyundai Elantra from 2014 to 2017 and the Kia Forte from 2014 to 2018. Just a heads up—when you're swapping out your radiator, make sure to check the old pressure cap. It’s one of those little details that can save you a lot of headaches down the road.
In short, if you want a radiator that’s reliable, efficient, and built to last, CSF has you covered. I’ve trusted them in my own rides, and I think you’ll be impressed too.
