Upgrade Your LB7 Duramax
The LB7 Duramax comes with a charge air system that's pretty restricted right from the factory. After noticing how much power could be lost due to the small-diameter factory tubes, we decided to make a change. We increased the tubing size to a robust 3 inches, and the results were impressive! This upgrade led to significant power gains compared to the factory intercooler system.
Power Gains That Speak for Themselves
During our dyno testing of the HSP upgraded intercooler tubing, we witnessed remarkable increases in horsepower and torque from this often-overlooked component. Keep in mind that power increases can vary between models, depending on tuning calibrations, turbo options, and aftermarket fuel systems. But one thing is certain: the amount of air your intercooler system can flow directly impacts your truck's performance. Using the HSP upgraded charge tubes is a great way to make the most of your vehicle's potential.
