The LLY Duramax comes with a factory charge air system that can feel a bit restricted. After noticing the potential power loss caused by the small-diameter factory tubes, we decided to step things up. By increasing the tubing size to a robust 3 inches, we unlocked significant power gains compared to the standard intercooler system.

During our dyno testing of the HSP upgraded intercooler tubing, we were thrilled to see remarkable horsepower and torque improvements from what many overlook. This upgraded tube flows an impressive 53% more than the factory unit. Keep in mind that power increases can vary between models, depending on factors like tuning calibrations, turbo options, and aftermarket fuel systems. One thing is certain: your intercooler system's airflow determines how much air your truck can move. That's why using the HSP upgraded charge tubes is a smart choice to unlock your truck's full potential.
