Hot Side Intercooler Tube Details

Let’s talk about the hot side tube included in the HSP Intercooler Bundle Kit. This component often flies under the radar but is crucial for your truck’s performance. The factory hot side pipe on LLY trucks is notorious for failure.

The factory routing can rub against the power steering line, leading to a hole in the tube and resulting in a boost leak that robs your truck of power. HSP Diesel understands this problem all too well, which is why we've designed our Hot Side tube to route directly into the intercooler. This design not only lowers temperatures but also improves airflow and provides extra clearance in those tight spots.

Crafted from a 3-inch mandrel-bent tube, our hot side intercooler tube can be powder-coated to add some flair to your engine bay.

Cold Side Tube Information

Now, let’s move on to the cold side tube, which is also made from a 3-inch diameter tube. We mandrel-bent this tube to maximize airflow and minimize turbulence, ensuring your engine performs at its best.

The 3-inch cold side tube connects seamlessly to the factory-style bridge, ensuring optimal efficiency and performance without sacrificing any necessary components.
