Going off of our complete Evo8/9 MAPerformance COP kit, we have decided to offer the most complete DIY package available for those of you looking to source the coils on your own, or just spread the cost out a little bit! You have the boost turned up, and the best injectors that money can buy but something isn't quite getting the job done? You may need more spark energy and the new MAPerformance coil on Plug Kit for the EVO 8 and 9 is here to deliver! Starting with our USA made CNC Billet mounting plate, we designed this for not only a simple install, but also wanted it to be a centerpiece of your engine bay style wise. Lots of time was taken on the fit and finish, along with the Stainless hardware choice to keep it looking perfect for a long time coming! Next up are the coils,this kit is designed around the popular Denso 9091902240 coil, with many options on the market and a proven record of making power these are the perfect choice. We suggest utilizing the OES Denso coils for the best performance, but many other brands are available these days in a wide range of prices. With this kit we have also supplied our direct fit wiring harness, made of high quality wire and connectors, it is sleeved in abrasion resistant material and will be plug and play for the Evo 4-9! No more harness building for those of you looking to do a DIY kit, this one is ready to plug in and go! This DIY kit will also include all the needed hardware, along with the replacement springs that will need to be installed in the coils for optimal spark performance. We feel this is the most comprehensive and complete DIY kit on the market these days, supply your own coils and you are ready to go! Why should you go to a Coil On Plug ignition system in your car? From improved throttle response, increased fuel mileage the changes will be very noticeable!
