MMX Performance disc upgrades are designed to directly replace your OEM brake discs and come complete with left and right-handed, two-piece floating discs. Each disc not only weighs less than the OEM part but also features much larger, more efficient directional cooling vanes to ensure even braking performance, pad wear and cooling capability.
The 370mm x 24mm 2-piece floating rear discs are the perfect addition to match our MMX front replacement discs. Matching grooves, matching performance.
Utilizing a two-piece 370mm floating design allows our disc and hat to expand radially and axially as they absorb heat generated from use, avoiding the most common cause of warping and cracking seen in single-piece discs. Due to the efficiency of this design, MMX discs last considerably longer than factory discs. The friction surface features our trademark groves that increase bite and remove debris from the pad surface giving the perfect balance between brake feel and longevity.
The center hat is crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. Our grooved discs are constructed from proprietary metal alloys, that can withstand immense braking temperatures while holding form. The discs also utilize 36 directionally curved vanes to forcefully flow cool air through the rotor to dissipate heat.
Internal vanes are used to draw air through the center of the disc outward, allowing the heat to transfer as it passes. The rotation of the discs and vanes play an important role in brake cooling as it acts as a pump to move air and unlike the OEM brake discs, our disc upgrade consists of a right and left-hand disc to optimize cooling and ensure consistent stopping power for your vehicle.
As the MMX discs dissipate heat much more efficiently, the factory pad compound works much better in real-world conditions; only when you're using the vehicle on the track would we recommend considering a different pad altogether. But rest assured, you can use OEM or after-market performance pads with our discs.
