Performance

Forget about generic components; every part of the 1Banger is proprietary. We used LucidShape to optimize performance with the latest high-density LEDs from Osram. Thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned using SolidWorks. With options for white or yellow output and four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood), there’s a 1Banger perfect for every driving style and performance need.

HXB Spot Beam

The HXB Spot Beam lights up the distance like no other single-chip LED pod out there. Equipped with the most powerful Osram LED, combined with our cutting-edge optics, this beam pattern can reach an impressive 500 meters ahead. No matter how fast you're going, you won't outpace your visibility with the 1Banger HXB Spots.

All Weather

Looking for all-around visibility? The white-output version has you covered. If you're tackling rain, snow, or fog, the yellow-output version is a game changer in tricky weather. We’ve chosen phosphor-converted yellow LEDs that produce yellow light right at the source, ensuring optimal penetration through particles in the air without sacrificing performance. (Filtering white light through a yellow lens may look good, but it doesn’t deliver the same benefits in poor weather.)

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility. We put in extensive effort to ensure that our product is reliable. High power means high heat, which is why the 1Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB to maximize heat transfer to the radiator, meticulously optimized through multiple thermal analyses. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking. Our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are all designed to meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you're in the market for a high-performance, street-legal LED pod to use as a fog light, the 1Banger wide beam model meets the latest SAE F regulation for on-road use.

Power Up

The Morimoto 1Banger LED Pods have been crafted from the ground up to set a new benchmark in their category, and our optional wire harness follows suit. If you're aiming for the best, you’ve found it. Every component of the harness has been thoughtfully designed without cutting corners. It includes a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with a yellow LED backlight.
