Performance

We don’t settle for "off-the-shelf" components here. Every part of the 2Banger is proprietary, optimized for performance using LucidShape with the latest, lumen-dense Osram LEDs. We've fine-tuned the thermal dynamics with SolidWorks, ensuring that whether you choose the white or yellow output, or one of the four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood), there's a 2Banger that fits your driving style and performance needs perfectly.

Versatility

The 2Banger can stand alone or be linked together to create a serious light bar. Each set includes universal pedestal mounts for easy installation on flat surfaces like your steel bumper or with our various A-Pillar brackets. With our BangerBar links, you can easily connect your Bangers into a custom light bar tailored to your specifications. Choose the color of the light, the beam optics, and the radius’then watch as you light up the night!

HXB Flood Beam

The HXB Flood Beam is designed to provide ample ambient light with coverage in every direction. It’s perfect for low-speed driving, rock crawling, backing up, or even lighting up your campsite. While flood optics may not project far, they excel at illuminating your immediate surroundings.

All Weather

If you're looking for all-around visibility, the white-output version is a great choice. For those rainy, snowy, or foggy days, the yellow-output version shines through the gloom. We use phosphor-converted yellow LEDs that produce yellow light at the source, which is the most effective way to cut through particles in the air without sacrificing performance. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, our design ensures you get the best visibility in challenging weather.

Reliability

With great power comes the need for great reliability. We've put in extensive effort to ensure the 2Banger stands the test of time. The high power output generates heat, which is why we’ve incorporated a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that maximizes heat transfer to the radiator, optimized through rigorous thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to resist flaking. Plus, our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are all designed to meet IP69K standards, ensuring full weather resistance.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you're in the market for a high-performance, street-legal LED pod for use as a fog light, the 2Banger wide beam model has been verified compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road use by Calcoast Labs in California.

Power Up

The Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods are crafted from the ground up to set a new standard in their category, and the optional wire harness is no exception. If you're looking for the best, you’ve found it. Every component of the harness has been thoughtfully designed without cutting corners. It features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow LED backlight.
