Performance

Forget about "off the shelf" components; every part of the 2Banger is proprietary. We utilized LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Osram, and we fine-tuned thermal dynamics using SolidWorks. With two performance tiers’white or yellow output’and four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood), there’s a 2Banger designed to meet your every driving need and style.

Versatility

The 2Banger can shine solo or be linked together to create a serious light bar. Each pod set includes universal pedestal mounts for easy installation on any flat surface, like your steel bumper, or you can use our application-specific A-Pillar brackets. With the BangerBar link options, you can easily bolt your Bangers together into a custom light bar, choosing the color of the light, beam optics, and radius. Get ready to light up the night!

HXB Wide Beam

The HXB Wide beam is designed to illuminate the ground right in front of your vehicle. Its dual-axis control allows you to adjust both the width and the active hot spot to project peak intensity along the top of the beam pattern. The carefully engineered cutoff line and vertical gradient comply with the latest SAE F regulations, making it safe and legal to use as a fog light on public roads. The 2Banger HXB Wide beam stands out as the most effective off-road capable, on-road compliant Dual-LED pod light in the world.

All Weather

For all-around visibility, the white-output version is perfect. If you need optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog, the yellow-output version shines in challenging weather conditions. We’ve chosen phosphor-converted yellow LEDs that produce yellow light at the source, allowing for better penetration through particles in the air’without compromising on output. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, this method truly enhances performance in poor weather.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility, and we’ve put a lot of effort into ensuring the reliability of our product. High power means high heat, which is why the 2Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for optimal heat transfer to the radiator. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking. Plus, our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are all designed to meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

Street Legality

When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you’re searching for a high-performance, street-legal LED pod to use as a fog light, the 2Banger wide beam model has been verified as compliant with the latest SAE-F regulations for on-road use by Calcoast Labs in California.

Power Up

The Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods have been developed from the ground up to set a new standard in their segment, and the same goes for the optional wire harness. If you’re looking for the best, you’ve found it. Every component of the harness has been carefully considered, from the triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay to the over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse. With DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch featuring a yellow LED backlight, you can trust that you’re getting top quality.
