To future aid their cooling packages for the C7 Corvettes, LG Motorsports developed a new hood design that could not only help with the effectiveness of the radiator but also help in adding reduced lift to the nose of the Corvette. The new carbon hood was designed as a 100% bolt on for all models of C7 Corvette including the latest GrandSport. Their race inspired challenge hood was developed to help increase the cooling and downforce on the C7 Corvette by opening the radiator outlet louvers to draw more air through, and eliminate under hood air pressure.
