These kits are designed to be emissions and track legal, as they don’t vent to the atmosphere (VTA). About the CCV Catch Can Kit

The 20-0239-FL CCV Catch Can Kit, Fluid Lock, comes with two mounting brackets, one of which will be set aside depending on whether you’re using the PCV kit. The crankcase vent runs inline with the 1/2" valve cover breather port. At low loads, it experiences atmospheric pressure, but when your engine is at high load (WOT), this hose will create a vacuum that could typically draw in unwanted crankcase vapors, unspent fuel, and oil sludge into your air filter intake pipe. If you’ve got a turbocharged or supercharged engine and have noticed oil buildup in your intercooler, this catch can is essential—oil can significantly reduce the thermal efficiency of the heat exchange process.
