Fuel Pressure Regulator

The FPR-D features a 1:1 vacuum reference high-flow design that’s been rigorously tested to manage an impressive 1,400 liters per hour. You’ll find two interchangeable orifices included, allowing you to fine-tune the amount of fuel bypassed for your specific application. This means less diaphragm flutter and more stable pressure, which is crucial for those who demand precision in their fuel systems. With the preload set screw conveniently located on top, adjusting fuel pressure is a breeze. Plus, the stainless steel adjustment screw is designed with super fine threads to minimize vacuum and boost leaks, giving you the control you need.

Fuel Pulse Damper

The integrated fuel pulse damper works wonders by stabilizing the fuel pressure generated by your fuel system components, like the fuel pump and injectors. For optimal damping efficiency, aim for a base pressure of 40-120 psi (2.8-8.3 bar). This measurement is taken with the fuel pump running and without a vacuum line attached to the regulator. Don’t worry about dynamic fuel pressure; as long as your vacuum/boost reference line is connected, you’re in good shape!

Ports and Connections

When it comes to installation, the FPR-D is designed with convenience in mind. The inlet and outlet ports are fitted with large 10AN ORB (7/8"-14) threads. You’ll receive two -6AN and two -8AN adapter fittings, making it compatible with most aftermarket fuel systems. Remember to lubricate the O-rings with petroleum oil during installation. There’s also a 1/8" NPT auxiliary port for monitoring fuel pressure or temperature—perfect for using with a Radium fuel pressure gauge. If you don’t need this port, a plug is included, and don’t forget to use PTFE paste for sealing the NPT fitting!

Mounting Made Easy

The FPR-D assembly is equipped with two M6x1mm threaded mounting holes, and an anodized aluminum mounting plate along with countersink bolts and nuts is included for your convenience. You can mount the FPR-D in any orientation—even upside down! Just keep in mind that this product is not intended to be installed directly on a fuel rail port.

Warranty

All Radium Engineering brand products are subject to a 1 Year Limited Warranty from the date of original purchase. If a product fails, it will be repaired or replaced at Radium Engineering's option when it has been determined by Radium Engineering to have failed due to defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty claims must be made by the original purchaser. If the purchase was made from a retailer other than radiumauto.com, please contact the place of purchase for further assistance.

This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the merchandise only and shall not, in no event, exceed the original purchase price. Radium Engineering will not be held responsible for secondary or consequential damages or costs (including labor, towing, etc.) incurred due to failure of this product. Standard ground shipping is used for all warranty transactions. Expedited shipping is available, but the cost difference must be paid by the end user in advance of the shipment.

Warranty claims must ship pre-paid to Radium Engineering for review. Claims must include the failed part(s), RMA number, and original proof of purchase. If the claim is missing any of these items, it may be rejected and returned to sender. Product must be received by Radium Engineering within 14 days of RMA's issue date. Please note that before Radium Engineering can issue an RMA for any product, it is first necessary for the installer or end user to contact info@radiumauto.com to discuss the problem. Most issues can be resolved via email. Under no circumstances should a product be returned or a RMA requested before the above process transpires.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Improper use, installation, modification, abuse, or unauthorized repairs or alterations voids this warranty. Credit for defective products will be issued pending inspection by Radium Engineering. This warranty does not extend to third party products often used in Radium Engineering products, such as fuel pumps, turbochargers, or any other non-Radium Engineering brand products.
