Compatibility and Features
This fuel filter is designed to work seamlessly with a variety of vehicles, including those with older barbed fittings and newer models that utilize SAE quick connect fittings. If you have an aftermarket fuel rail featuring a 6AN male inlet fitting, you're in luck—this filter is a perfect match!
To ensure optimal performance, the OEM feed line is replaced with a larger 3/8" fuel hose and -6AN Push Lok hose ends. This upgrade can make a noticeable difference in your vehicle's fuel delivery system.
Important Installation Note
Depending on your specific Subaru model and year, you might need to slightly adjust the position of the secondary air injection or washer fluid reservoir during installation. Just a little tweak for a perfect fit!
