The kit is supplied with a stainless steel air box with built-in velocity stack and CNC billet aluminum mass air meter housing. It mounts in the factory location as is supplied with rubber trim. Our tests showed inlet temps a mere 5 to 10 degrees above ambient temperature. The Steeda Lifetime Filter can easily be cleaned and re-oiled making maintenance a snap. All stainless steel hardware required for installation is included in the kit.
Used without a tune we have seen up to 12 horsepower. We've found between 25 and 31 horsepower and over 25 foot pounds of torque with this kit and SCT tune. Steeda dealers such as Tasca Ford have seen 40 horsepower at the wheels with our cold air tuner and Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system!
