MFD28 - 2.8" display Audi A4 (B5) Gen 2

Can read out and display up to 50 values at the same time

Views
  • 10 pages freely configurable

  • Color adjustment is possible depending on the widgets
Performance Meter
  • Time measurement integrated directly into the display. 0-100; 0-200; 150-200, everything is possible. The time is measured via the speed signal from the control unit, which can also be optionally combined with a 10Hz GPS module.
Logging:
There are four different logging types available:
  • USB: logs all sensor data live via USB
  • SD card: all sensor data is also logged on the SD card
  • Debug: all CAN bus data is also logged via USB.
  • sDbg: all Can Bus data is stored on the SD card (CAN Bus Logger)
The log viewer is available online to evaluate the log. Simply load the log file and use the intuitive interface.

Supported values:
  • Many customers always ask: "Which values can I query from my control unit". The answer: "  ALL  " The control unit manufacturers themselves determine which values are sent via the interface and also document them accordingly. A total of up to 50 sensors can be queried with the display if the manufacturer supports this.
Supported control units:
  • In general, all control units that have a documented CAN bus or a serial interface are supported. The latter is only possible with an optional serial adapter. Most manufacturers supply a "dbc" file, which is then converted into a .tri file for the display. This can also be done by the customer himself using the DBC converter on the manufacturer's website.

Haldex
  • The 2.8" display has the ability to regulate the 4-motion Haldex control (VAG Gen 1 PQ34 platform). Communication takes place via Can-Bus, so no conversion of the Haldex is necessary. The control is activated by a license Scope.
