There are two types of light bulbs that you can have in your headlights. One is the halogen light bulb, and the other is the LED light bulb. There are some differences in the performance and longevity of these two bulbs, and Xtune offers replacement units for either LED Headlights or Halogen Headlights. What exactly is the difference between halogen and LED lights? The former is a regular bulb, except that the chamber is filled not with Argon, but with halogen gas. However, LED utilizes a diode that harnesses an electric current to produce light.

Halogen bulbs are a step-up from normal incandescent bulbs, while LED bulbs are a step-up from halogen bulbs. The LED lights produce less heat and more light.
